Sabah’s Rainforest Discovery Centre( RDC) is regarded as one of the stylish environmental education centres in the state. Located within the most accessible natural rainforest in Sabah, the Kabili- Sepilok Forest Reserve, which is about 23 km down from Sandakan city, the RDC aims to give callers with the occasion to witness nature up- close while educating them on the significance of rainforest conservation.

Do n’t forget to check out the Sepilok Giant, a unheroic seraya tree, towering at 65 m and estimated to be 800 to 1,000 times old.

Besides that, the centre is also a raspberry watchers ’ paradise. In fact, it's one of the biggest raspberry watching spots in Sabah and the venue for its periodic Borneo Bird Festival, a unique event that attracts a lot of raspberry suckers from each over the world.

A 347- m long and 25- m high sword cover walkway system that leads callers to the observation halls, provides an excellent spot for raspberry watchers to view over 300 raspberry species then, including both migrant and aboriginal raspberry species like rhinoceros hornbill, black- and-sanguine pitta, crested jay, scarlet minivet, blue- headed pitta, and malkohas, just to name a many.
